The Hellwood is another exotic instrument among our Elwoods. The matt-black lacquered ash body is supplemented with pickup covers and a fingerboard made of red padouk. Its color combination makes the Hellwood an absolute eye-catcher.
Arbitrary inlays of mother of pearl, acrylic or wood make the instrument a personalised masterpiece. 21, 22 or 24 frets are available at a scale of 34". The matching headstock has been revisited, that it manages to save weight without string tree.
The bass player has the choice between active and passive electronics pickups of all kinds. The Hellwood is available as a 4-, 5-, or 6-string.
The high-quality hardware is available in black, optionally with security locks.
