The Jake is the classic par excellence among the bass models in the world. 1951 this model was introduced as the first electric bass with a solid body and never lost his mojo!
The hard rock maple neck is bolted on to the ash or alder body. The fingerboard is made of maple, rosewood or ebony. Arbitrary inlays of mother of pearl, acrylic or wood make the instrument a personalized masterpiece. 21 frets are available at a scale of 34".
The matching headstock has been revisited, that it manages to save weight without string tree.
The bass player has the choice between active and passive electronics pickups of all kinds. The Jake is available as a 4-, or 5-string. The high-quality hardware is available in black or chrome, optionally with security locks. Whether natural or color, opaque or transparent, matte or gloss; choose yourself and create your personal instrument.
