Birdy

The Birdy was introduced in 1963. Her shape was designed by the US car designer Raymond Dietrich. This model was very well received in the blues and rock scene, e.g. Johnny Winter.

The striking body of the Birdy usually consist of alder or mahogany and is reminiscent of the Navigator. The Birdy has a neck-thru construction. The neck is made of maple or mahogany and eguipped with a 22 fret rosewood or ebony fretboard. The scale length is 628mm.

To amplify the creamy tone of the Birdy, two humbuckers are built into her. To control the pickups the Birdy offers a 3-way switch and one volume- and one tone poti.

The Birdy is also available as a left-handed electric guitar.
