The Lizard is a modern variation of the Passenger. Particularly striking is her beaked head, which is together with the bolt-on neck made out of mahogany.
The guitarist has the choice between ebony, rosewood or pau ferro for the 22 fret fingerboard. The scale length is 648mm. The body of the Lizard is made of mahogany and supplemented with a selected maple top.
In contrast to the classical variation, the electronics are screwed directly into the body, so there is no pickguard required. The input-jack is located in the frame.
Two humbuckers are installed to amplify the sound. While the 3-way switch selects and combines the pickups, the two knobs adjust each volume and tone. Thanks to push-pull function the tone-control allows to split the humbuckers. The Lizard is also available as a left-handed electric guitar.
