This wonderful acoustic bass is designed and built by Lukas Brunner from Brunner Guitars in Switzerland and Adrian Maruszczyk. 'Svoboda' is Slovenian and stands for 'freedom'. And that is exactly how you feel when play it.
Efforless access to 24 frets on a scale of 32 inches, a comfortable bevel for the right arm and extended bass frequency response through an additional sound-hole are just a few features of this instrument.
Selected timbers e.g. african mahogany, european walnut or maple are used for the bottom and the sides. Spruce from Switzerland or american redwood form the tops of the Svoboda. The neck is made of mahogany and is complemented by an ebony or rosewood fingerboard.
Thanks to the 'L.R. Baggs' active acoustic pickup system, the player also has the opportunity to play the Svobodawith an amp.
This acoustic bass is available, as a 4-, 5-string bass.
Wooden hardware and 'Gotoh' tuner, complement this instrument.
The Svoboda is a real lightweight with under 3kg and offers plenty Kompfort playing.
