Svoboda – Acoustic Bass in Collaboration with Master Luthier Lukas Brunner
The Svoboda is not your average acoustic bass – it’s the result of a unique collaboration between Maruszczyk Instruments and renowned Swiss luthier Lukas Brunner, who crafts each instrument by hand in a small, remote village in the Swiss Alps. Every single Svoboda bass is built with meticulous attention to detail, using traditional craftsmanship and modern expertise.
This partnership was born from the idea of creating an acoustic bass with 24 fully playable frets – a true rarity in the world of acoustic bass guitars. The name "Svoboda", meaning "freedom" in Slavic languages, symbolizes the freedom this instrument offers across the entire fingerboard.
The Svoboda is a masterpiece, merging high-end lutherie with innovative design – both sonically and visually exceptional.
Important Information:
This instrument is part of a strictly limited edition and will not be produced in series. Due to the delicate nature of the construction and the complexities of individual shipping, the Svoboda is excluded from returns, refunds, and warranty claims.
This bass is intended only for customers who are absolutely sure about their purchase. Testing is exclusively available at our showroom in Aldenhoven, Germany. We aim to keep transport routes to a minimum in order to avoid potential damage from shipping services.
