Häussel JB 'Big Mag' series are an extended take on the legendary single coil pickup design. Equipped with bigger 9,5 mm pole pieces, leading to an an increased punch and a better reproduction across bass and treble frequency ranges. Moreover, this version features the original 'Side by Side' humbucker wiring. That results in a very fine reproduction of the high register, making all details and nuances very clear, yet not obtrusive. Featuring double Alnico V magnets and a very loose winding method. That guarantees a hum-free operation - so highly in demand within recording circumstances, yet maintaining all tonal qualities of the legendary pickup. This is a five string version. Available in different finish variations.
