The Haeussel JB 'Side by Side' pickups are humbuckers in the classic format of a J-style single coil.
The hum-free operation of this pickup is ensured by the "side by side" winding method, in which two coils next to each other suppress the typical hum of a single coil. The result is a very fine reproduction of the high sound register, so that all details and subtleties are very clear but not intrusive. In addition, you can now also upgrade your J-style bass with a humbucker, which does not require any milling or modification to the body. You simply take the old pickup out and put a new one in. Equipped with double Alnico V magnets and a very loose winding method. Haeussel JB pickups are manufactured according to traditional winding methods and are available in various versions.
